How Do You Want the Door to Know You?
Four ways to open a door, and the choice is usually about who walks through it rather than what the hardware can do. We install all four, often more than one on the same site.
Face
No badge to carry and nothing to touch, which is why it has become the default for main staff entrances. Suits doors with a steady flow of the same people every day, and it is the credential nobody can hand to a colleague.
Fingerprint
The long-standing answer where a card would get shared and a face reader is more than the door needs. Best on internal doors and staff entrances with a fixed, enrolled group of people.
Card
Fast, cheap to issue and easy to cancel the moment someone leaves. The right answer for contractors, visitors and large sites where enrolling every face is not practical.
PIN
No card to lose and nothing to enrol, so it suits doors used occasionally by people who are not on the system — a store room, a plant room, a back entrance. Usually specified alongside a card reader rather than on its own.

What we install
A Door, End to End
Full door access installation for offices and large buildings. Our own team surveys, cables, mounts, wires and configures it — the people who install it are the people who support it.
Terminal or Reader at the Door
Face, fingerprint, card or keypad, chosen per door rather than per building. A main entrance and a store room rarely want the same thing.
Controller in the Cabinet
The decision to unlock is made by the controller, not by the reader on the wall, so a reader that is pulled off the wall does not open the door.
Electric and Magnetic Locks
Magnetic locks, electric strikes and drop bolts, matched to the door leaf and frame you actually have rather than to a standard kit.
Exit Buttons and Free Egress
A door that controls entry must still let people out. Exit buttons, break-glass release, and the wiring that releases the doors when the fire alarm sounds.
Power, Backup and Cabling
Dedicated power supplies with battery backup, and cabling run and terminated by our own team so the doors hold up when the mains does not.
Software and Permissions
The management platform the doors answer to: access set per person and per time of day, staff added and removed, and entry reports pulled when somebody asks who was where.

The Doors We Are Usually Asked About
Six settings we install in across Brunei. What the door has to achieve changes with the building, and so does the credential in front of it.
Offices and Corporate Buildings
Main entrance, server room and the director's floor rarely want the same rule. Most offices start with one controlled door and grow into a permission structure.
Government Buildings
Public counters at the front, controlled doors behind them, and a written record of who went through which.
Banks
The back office, the cash room and the service door. Positions and permissions are agreed against your own security policy.
Schools and Campuses
Gates, staff rooms, labs and stores. The point is keeping the doors that should be closed closed during the day, without slowing staff down.
Clinics and Healthcare
Records rooms, drug stores and staff-only corridors, where the door has to hold and the log has to be there afterwards.
Remittance Business
Cash and customer records sit behind the back-office door, and the counter side is kept separate from it so nobody crosses over unnoticed. Staff-only areas carry their own permissions, and every entry is logged.

The Credential Is One Layer of Three
This page is the credential layer — what decides whether the door should open. What physically stops someone who has not presented one is a turnstile, and what turns those passes into a timesheet is time and attendance. We install all three, and most jobs need at least two.

Yes, and most sites do. A face terminal on the staff entrance and card readers on internal doors is a common split. Which doors get which is settled at the survey.
Door hardware is specified with its own power supply and battery backup, and the release arrangement for a fire alarm is part of the design rather than an afterthought.
Free egress is designed in. Exit buttons and break-glass release are part of every installation we do.
Often yes — many of the terminals we install serve both. Tell us whether you need attendance as well as access and we will specify hardware that covers both rather than two separate systems.
Usually. Existing locks, strikes and cabling can frequently be reused. Send us photographs of the door and the frame and we will confirm what can be kept before quoting.
