The Fanvil V61G is a colour-screen desk phone built for staff who spend real time on the telephone — reception, sales, service counters and management. It carries a 2.4-inch 320×240 colour display, four SIP lines and six-way audio conferencing.
Twelve DSS keys can each be set as a line key, a busy lamp field or a speed dial. Busy lamp field is the feature most offices notice: a receptionist can see at a glance which extensions are engaged before transferring a call, rather than transferring blind and having it bounce back.
The V61G has two gigabit ports and bridges the network through to the computer at the same desk, so a PC sharing the phone’s network point keeps full gigabit speed. Entry-level handsets limited to 100 Mbps will slow that PC down.
Power over Ethernet is standard, to the IEEE 802.3af specification. Where a PoE switch is installed, no mains socket or adapter is needed at the desk. A 5V adapter can be used instead where PoE is not available.
The handset uses a Hall-effect sensor switch rather than a mechanical hook, and supports HAC for hearing-aid compatibility. The display supports a customisable background and boot logo.

Supply and installation
Supplied as part of a complete installed phone system. HiFOCUS configures and registers each handset to your PBX, sets up the dial plan and DSS keys to suit how your staff work, and hands over once the system is live.
Where PoE handsets are being installed, a suitable network switch is quoted separately.
