The Fanvil X1S is an entry-level desk phone for positions that need a reliable extension without the cost of a full-featured handset — workshops, store rooms, spare offices, back-of-house and secondary desks.
It carries two SIP lines, three-way conferencing and HD audio on both the handset and speakerphone. A 128×48 monochrome display shows caller ID, call status and the softkey labels. A local phonebook holds 1000 entries with a further 1000 available from a remote XML or LDAP directory.
Two variants are available. The X1SP supports Power over Ethernet and draws power from a network switch, so no mains socket is needed at the desk. The X1S has no PoE and is supplied with a power adapter instead. Which suits you depends on whether a PoE switch is already installed or planned.
The network ports run at 100 Mbps and bridge through to a computer at the same desk. Where that PC needs full gigabit speed, the V61G is the better choice — this is the main practical difference between the two handsets beyond the display.
The stand adjusts to 45 or 50 degrees, and wall mounting is possible with an additional bracket. EHS wireless headsets are supported through Plantronics or Jabra cables.

Call hold and resume, waiting, transfer (attended and unattended), forwarding on always/busy/no answer, parking and pick-up, intercom, speed dial, redial, anonymous calling, do not disturb, auto-answering, hot line, hot desking, voice messaging and three-way conferencing.
Network support covers IPv4 and IPv6, 802.1x, VLAN, LLDP, QoS, and L2TP or OpenVPN. Auto-provisioning via FTP, TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP option 66, SIP PNP and TR-069 allows handsets to be configured centrally.

Supplied as part of a complete installed phone system, configured and registered to your PBX before handover.
